Jerry Wilkes
Hi, I have a minor problem with Viz 4; 1. I should be able to copy an object by simply selecting it, and then dragging it to one side whilst holding down the ‘Alt’ button. I can’t do that anymore. 2. I should also be able to drag an object along one of its axes( locked to that axis), just by selecting the object and moving over the relevant axis. That facility has also just gone. 3. Would "loading the default VIZ interface" solve this( & if so how do I do that?), or do these things just toggle on or off !! Any ideas? Thanks, Jerry ( Bristol,UK)
JamesTaylor
in respect to your first problem, it is shift that you need to hold down, not alt. it should then work as planned. 2nd point.......not too sure about this.... but if you've pressed alt, it'll highlight the main menu bar, you won't be able to move anything until you come out of the alt command by pressing esc. rebooting viz should restore your defaults, but since its possible to update the defaults you may have saved the change and it'll still be there. Jason Matthews
When you grab the objects select the move tool. Then move the cursor over the x,y,z, axis. The axis you move on is highlighted in yellow I believe.
