HomeBrewTJ
Hello all. I've been viewing these forums for quite some time now and thought I'd share a project I'm working on. This is the second exterior I've ever done, and would love some feedback. I'm still working on the glass, and some details in the roof/trim and other little things. I basically just modeled an existing building on campus and put it back into the photo. I used max7 with skylight and a directional and just rendered scanline. Thanks
Hector
Hello: Nice rendering. My observations woul be: 1.- Shadows on the brick walls of the neigbour building are darker than in your model, I think they should look about the same as they are suppose to be under the same light. 2.- I think windows on the right side side of your building should allow to seesomething of the inside, even if it looks dark. Is the combination of reflections and transparency what makes glass realistic. 3.- the ttop four windows look a bit stange cause two look dark and two look light. Looks grate. JamesTaylor
looks great, only thing i'd add is a bit of camera correction needed on the verticles.
HomeBrewTJ
Thank you for the feedback. I definitely need to make the contrast between light and shadows more prominent. And I will add something on the inside of the windows to give them some depth as well. About the windows on top- the two middle ones are actually vented. I know it's hard to tell right now, maybe I should fix that as well.
