RAYMOND
is there anyway to set up the arrow keys to nudge object in acad like moving a selection in photoshop... it would be nice:D :D
martincg
just theory: maybe with some script, assign to arrows /or ctrl+anykey etc../ direction and distance
Hazdaz
wouldn't exactly be practical in my mind - after all the whole point of a CAD package is to be dead-nuts exact. Using arrow keys would seem to defeat the point of that.
RAYMOND
well er ah.. i was thinking about using the arrow keys so that every time you would hit the key it move it "exactly" 1" or whatever the snap is... don't arrow keys work ussually with some increment distance anyway... like ps works with pixels. might be able to do this with lisp but not sure if you can reach the arrow keys with it..... so maybe vb... if you have a script then it would have to be reloaded everytime...
