hi

i m posting this image for c&c and i need help. there are three main concerns

starting with

1) what is the problem with grass it just flattens out and giving no color at all.

2) help me the glass material

3) over all i dont know whats wrong with the image it looks flat to me and i am not able to control the shadows. help me.

4) i am using a sunlight and its my first try with sunlight should i change it with direct spot or what.

any thing is more than welcome

hello, I suggest that you try to lessen the multipler of your sunlight. or you can go back to directiona light and add a skylight @ 0.5 value. the modeling is ok. about the grass, If you really wanted to make a nice one, try reading tutorials from websites, like http://www.suurland.com, 3dtotal.com and evermotion.org to name a few. I wish you good luck and keep making good 3d!

Hi

i am always have the same result but you may use more real maps for you building materials

lights may be need to add some area shadow with multiplier 3 at u v w

colours are very contrasted

real background will be very helpful

have a nice time tring & practicing

i like your model

thnx ahmed for your support but please explain to me what do you mean by

area shadows of lights with multiplier and uvw mapping.

and of course what i am missing here for realistic image

and i am posting a slightly more worked image with some changes in grass with help of grass tutorial ar evermotion.org site.
