nvda
Hello, basically, i've got various shapes set out a certain intervals in cad. The shapes are not closed, its sorta like a series of 's' curves. Im importing into max and would like to know how to merge the series of shapes together so as to create a digital form. Im new to organic modelling, and would appreciate some help on this as im lost in this 3dmax world cheers
Ricardo Eloy
I'm not sure if I get you, but you can go to the modify tab and attach all the splines to one. After that, you'll have to weld the vertices if you are willing to extrude them.
Juan Altieri
yes, select a segment of the spiline and ussing attach to select the other segments you like to join... yuo can use weld to join the vertices after this if you like too, just select the vertices (2) ans press weld... if when you extrude them you note some flip faces, you can back to the spline and select the segments and "invert" them using the invert comand...
