Geoff
Got this e-mail yesterday Hi Geoff I'm a photographer based in London. I shoot celebrities and lingerie mostly for editorial print media and Increasingly publicity shoots for TV stations. I really want to incorporate 3d art into my work as a way of using unusual and striking locations. I've stumbled across your staircase design (I want one but I KNOW I can't afford one). The stairs are great but I wondered if you did any more artwork. Your style is perfect for me in that it's REAL while of course unreal; the 3d light rendering still has an element of surreality about it which would be accentuated by morphing in real images. I'm rambling. To be succinct: Are you interested in allowing me to use any of your 3d artwork for inclusion in my work? Can you tell me what software you used to create these images? How steep is the learning curve to be able to produce the sort of images you have on your site? Drop me a line if you are AT ALL interested in discussing the possibilities of morphing real photography with your art work. Ver best regards John Don't really know what to do about it. Need the cash, but do I really want my work associated with scantily clad women? Sounds Like I would be doing most of the work, apart from the photo-shoot (The best bit!) What are your thoughts/advise Geoff
IC
Take the money and benefit from the generated interest. I wouldn't think twice.
JamesTaylor
i'd have a chat with them, always good to be working in a range of different industries. you'll get paid for it, and you can always use the images minus women in your portfolio....equally they say sex sells! maybe keep them in! Crazy Homeless Guy
dis he post a link to his work? ...not that you should post it here, to many people would jump at him to take the offer that he is gicing you. just curious as to whether they are tastefully done, or if he went to the red light district, and 'rented' someone to pose for a couple of hours. archytextural
I would definitely only use images that weren't already contracted pieces. That is to say if someone already paid you for that image, it's off limits for the naked chics. But other than that, go for it Archytextural

DennisHolland
Ask yourself a few questions, Geoff: - Do I want to turn my artwork into commercial succes > money? - Am I moralising naked arts? - What's the difference between selling creativity to architects instead of (nudity) photographers - What's the reason of my suspicious thoughts in this? - Why not go for it? Filter out the answers, mix 'm and cook up a reasonable decision.... maybe all of the above is not really make sense, but it sure sounds great in Dutch Dennis

David Knourek
Well Geoff, just tell her that your all professionals and as a sort of technical director you are required to attend the photo shoots to record enviormental sampes as lighting, textures.... to create a realistic environment for the shots. Just dont mention the dribble towel that you will need at the shoot -dave
