tcupp
I'll see if this can make sense. I have created a curved surface that is animated, like a wave. I have video that I want to project onto this moving surface. How can I do this? I am pretty sure that what I need to do is project it as a light source but I cant find where I can project animated video. Thanks, Taylor
Bugga_Guy
make a light over the surface (either direct, or spot light) Goto advance effects and make sure the map checkbox is checked and goto to the "none" button and import a bitmap (your movie in the is case) as you would a normal texture map. make a render and adjust the light parameters to fit onto your surface. William Alexander
You might want to check into camera mapping the projection, maybe a more flexible solution, than using a light. Just bit more complicated too WDA
tcupp
Thanks guys I will give both a try and see what I get. And hopefully have a descent animation to post when I am done. Taylor
tcupp
I tried the bitmap projection as a light source and it worked great until I added Radiosity meshing...then it disappeared. I also tried the camera mapping and couldnt get it to work. Any ideas? Taylor
