Devin Johnston
Honestly I expect Next Limit to be out of business by this time next year. These guy's have royally fu$#ed up this time, I'm just stunned I don't even know what to say.

Devin Johnston
Hindsight is 20 20, it seemed like a good deal at the time.
3dworks
the 'tragic' aspect is that the renderer they are developing is really outstanding - i would estimate even that it will change the viz market like lightscape did it, only that marketing and customer management is apparently in the wrong hand. that's why, even if disappointed as a customer (especially now that the OSX RC version is not released) i hope really that the company will survive! i can see the staff of maxwell developers driven (and maybe sometimes a bit lost) by it's vision for the software only, but completely overloaded by the business questions. the 'mad professor' figure in the maxwell animation demos is probably not far from this markus
