Sawyer
This afternoon Max8 stopped running. I can get it to start up but it freezes on application launch. In the task manager I see 2 copies of 3ds max running both say not responding. No error just not responding. I did install 2 new plugs but I removed them. They were the clone & glue plugs from itoosoft. I am not expecting someone to know the exact fix but it someone could point me in the right direction to look... Anyway Thanks
dbarc
Uninstall, reinstall, leave the building and come back in like you're starting the day again.
Sawyer
Ok so thats what I thought how do I do that without creating a hassel trying to reinstall all my plugin (especially the ones that need to be registered). Thanks

Thanks Stabbing in the dark a bit here but is there a repair option with max that will replace the standard components without touching your additional plugins? I know the vast majority of plugins I use reside in the plugin folder regardless of how fancy the initial setup was and you *may* just be able to copy the plugins folder prior to total reinstall and copy the third-party stuff back in afterwards. AJLynn
You might have important stuff in the plugcfg folder too, I think VRay puts a file there.
