hsa
OK experts. I think I have this radiosity thing to an acceptable level save for a minor annoyance. I am using Viz Render 2006 and have my quality levels set very high. The problem I am having as you will see in this partial attached clip is above the second floor windows. I am getting a shadow leak around the trim areas that looks like crap. I did an override on the walls using adaptive supdivide nad it cleared up some other problems. Shoul I do the same thing to the trim pieces to help clear the shadows up? Any suggestions would be helpful Steve
Tim Saunders
i would not reccommend doing an advanced lighting override. use that as little as possible, becasue then you are loosing the effect of realistic gi. instead adjust the settings such as initial quality, meshing size of sampling, and/or refine iterations or even the rays per sample in the rendering perameters under regather.
