wcraig
You can also play around with the paint and ink material standard to max. I think its a toon shader but I have gotten it to work for good looking architectural hidden line shader.
theqball
ink and paint material is by far the easiest way... steps: 1. create a new Ink 'n paint material in the material editor 2. adjust the Lighted color to white 3. set the ink width to 1 4. set the ink quality to 2 for better line quality 5. apply material to all objects and render with either MR or SL for an added bonus you could use the MR "Material Override" found in the "Processing" tab of the render dialog (when MR is selected as renderer). this would enable you to keep your original materials and do a quick hidden line render in the same file. If you are looking for a technique with more control do a search for “mental ray contour” in the help file, and read the section labeled “Camera Effects Rollout”. This approach can get rather complex but if you are in need of a particular look this might be the better solution.
