moshenko
Hi, We're working on a project in Arizona and are in need of some specific tree species, either as 3D models or as usable 2D images. The species are: Desert Willow Ironwood Sycamore We currently use Xfrog to generate custom trees but the timeline for this project is really short and I'm not sure of our ability to create these species in time. If anyone is able to provide - for a fee or otherwise - some usable trees of these types, I would be very grateful. Thanks -
RyanSpaulding
I'd try posting this in Renderosity's XFrog forum. You may get a few more hits. I looked at all 3 species and I have nothing. Sorry.

jackb602
A couple of months ago I needed some custom xFrog trees as well. I contacted Walli through his website and hired him to build them. He did exceptional work, and was very responsive and communicative throughout the process. I thought the pricing was reasonable as well. I would definitely work with him again if/when the need for custom plants arises. Jack EDIT: The most active Xfrog forum is probably this one at Yahoo. Also, the USA East collection includes a Sycamore.

moshenko
here is a link To a 3d imagecels webpage http://www.imagecels.com/Plants/desert_trees_images.html i live in Arizona if There are not other available Images Thanks for the link, Randy. We're creating a couple of the species in Xfrog, but some on the imagecels site look very appropriate. Part of the challenge has been that the landscape architect is adding more every time I turn around. I may just send you out with your camera yet! but This is (almost) winter here about 70 F lately in daytime LOL! It's almost winter here, too (Toronto). Our "but" is a daytime temperature of -5 C
