cjlopez4
Friend of mine asked me to help him out with a skysraper render. Any CC berfore I get back to him?
JamesTaylor
looks nice, although the image is too small to be able to crit - can you post a larger render so we can see the detail?
dbarc
As an image in its own right, it looks ok but what is it for? As a visualisation, there is no means of judging scale, no context and no human interaction so it doesn't work as a marketing or planning image. ShaunDon
Very nice start, though I agree with all location and human scale reference removed the image looks far too generic. Reflections, reflections! Here's a photo I took in Boston -- for my money the noisy reflections and speculars of glazing is the most fun of tower renderings. I'd find a better cloud image, ideally an HDRI sky for reflections on an all-glass tower. Maybe put some box-mapped buildings just out of frame so they'll reflect as well? With all this glass, it's difficult to tell where the sun is coming from... some specular highlights on the glazing will help this as well. Since you're using maxwell, I'm sure everyone's asking -- how long did it take to render? And at what resolution? Good luck! Shaun
Tim Saunders
i'm with shaun. i actually really like the camera angle. it might be slightly extreme, but if you brought the target down just a hare you could throw in some great reflections of nearby buildings that would add so much to the image. i'm also not sure about the material in between the glass. is is dome sort of exposed aggrigate concrete?
