mbr Posted December 8, 2005 Share Posted December 8, 2005 I have mapped an image to a plane and want to be able to read the text on it. The image is 150 dpi, so it should be fine. It looks fine when I put it as the bg of the viewport, just not when mapped. I've tried help, options, etc. - what am I missing? Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
theqball Posted December 9, 2005 Share Posted December 9, 2005 Hi Markus, i think these are the setting you are looking for... go to Customize -> Preferences -> Viewports tab -> Configure Driver set the texture sizes to 1024 and 512 and check match bitmap sizes as close as possible there will still be some dithering done for viewport performace and depending on your graphics card you may or may not see the full resolution of the texture in view. hope this helps.
