Hello to everyone..

 

Nothing to do with modelling or Architecture but feel I should share this with you.

 

My girlfriend and I bought some tickets to the Foo Fighters, back in August. The concert is on Saturday (17th December)

 

We still haven't received the tickets, after being told twice that they would be with us within the next few days.

 

I have just spoken to someone at their offices, who said that i have already been told that someone would call me.

 

When I said that someone told me they would be with me for tuesday, she went mad.. saying that "they shouldn't have done, that, and she didn't care about my tickets, she was only deailing with tickets for this evening"

 

I again said where are my tickets, and she again was extremely rude, and didn't care about my problem.

 

I then thanked her, and said that I had recorded the conversation ( i hand't..!) and she went beserk.. shouting at me, told me I couldn't do that, I had to tell her if I was going to do that.. then she said that she was cancelling the tickets, and will refund my money.. and slammed the phone down..!!

 

Now the real storey here, is that getmetickets.com, are already under heavy investigation for fraudulant claims of being able to supply tickets.

 

What they also do, is contact you on the day of the event, and tell you you will have to meet one of thier "representatives" or ticket tout, outside the event, to pick up your tickets.

 

I am now going to put this in the hands of my credit card company, as I have no hope of getting any tickets.

 

I just wished I had looked on the net about this lot before hand.

 

Hope this stops someone else making the same mistake..

I saw the Foo a few months ago in Winnipeg. I'm not a fan, but man they were good.

Seen them twice myself.. Brixton Academy and Wembley Arena..They really kick ass..!

 

Its not the money as such, as we should be able to get that back.. its the fact that we were looking forward to it, and these crooks are still operating..!

 

Anyway..

 

Just spread the word, this lot are bad news, and already have a mountain of charges building up against them.. just wish I had seen the press before buying the tickets..

These were featured on the Watchdog program a few weeks ago basically they were selling the tickets without actually having them then trying to get them off ticket touts. One lad had to go all the way to Scotland for a T in the Park ticket and the bloke he was supposed to meet outside never appeared. Keep on at them for a refund, in future never buy a ticket from these agencies you'd be better off trying to get one off ebay, you can usually pick them cheaper than from an agency! Saw Foo Fighters at V a couple of years ago they were excellent.
