i just got an email from The company That will be (eventually/finally)

 

publishing The Book

 

"Rendering with mental ray" by Thomas Dreimeyer

 

This is The fellow who was The main man who wrote mental ray

 

They are now saying That This book should be published within a week

i pre-ordered This book July 22 so i am now hoping That The wait is over

Funny, I just wrote an email this morning to Springer when this book will be sent out. But have no answer yet. I ordered both books and got programming mental ray within a week, still waiting for the other one, which is more important for me. would be a nice gift if it reaches me before christmas.

That book has been on hold for over 8 months, I know because I emailed them and preordered it in January. I don’t want you guys to get your hopes up because I cam across one of the original version 1s and unless you have a degree in Physics its really not going to be much of use to anybody.

I got an email this morning, that the book will be out NEXT Week!! I hope thats true. As I live in Vienna where it is being produced I might be the first to get it
