nisus
Hi All, Does anyone knows about a list with DGS-values for most common materials? I mean, what is the refraction ratio of asphalt, concrete, wood, ceramics,...? How glossy are aluminium, brushed steel etc? I don't find such a list. Any help helps ,-) rgds, nisus ps: a DGS-material library would be even more awesome! ,-)
ajvbochove
maybe start your material with a Architectural Material as ' template', and adjust the shaders in the Mental Ray Connexion rol-out.
nisus
Hi ajv, This might be done for the refraction coordinate, but i think the 'shiny' (DGS) is not the same as 'shininess' (Arch.Mat)... and what about glossiness? So anyone else got any ideas? rgds nisus
