notamondayfan
LOL i love the dice! i dunno if its cause its friday afternoon, or if its jus me, but i think its great. i have a brilliant idea 4 an animation wiv ur dice. basically (imo) the left dice looks "mature" and "serious", while the left 1 looks like a imature, crazy ass'd dice! imagine the crazy ass'd dice douncin around, and the serious dice gettin annoyed, till the point that he whipps out a dice shaker (massive size) and slams it ontop of the crazy ass'd dice!! i think im goin a bit crazy tbh! can u email me the file, looks kewl.deano! rayscluster
looks good. what about render time? And where could I see your tutorial?
carloscristerna
render time.....ok, once you have the photon map and your final gather map...render time depends in your textures and size of the image, a small size could take 2 to 5 minutes, a large one (3000x2500 pix) can take 45 min...also depending in the computer.....I am still working in seting up the tutorial, I will let you know soon where you can download the file and see the step by step setings.. Cheers! Carlos Cristerna

jophus14
For some reason your Test file won't work. A "Failure to Open" message comes up.
carloscristerna
its max 8, maybe thats why....let me see if I still have the viz 2005 version. sorry
carloscristerna
here is the earliest version of it, you will have to resave the photon map and the final gather map, when you do this, make the image small, once you have your small image, use the same maps for a biger one. this is how I started this exercise. let me know if this works.
