Resource collector

I've tried a few approaches but, the outcome is always that the original max file then looks to the textures in the resource collector file.

 

I will be doing more work with it so, will try more ways to get it right and I will give your method a go Dan.

Can't you just save the scene, then use the resource collector then reopen the file without saving?

Just save before and after collecting! You can use that one after, to send it(or whatever), and leave that one before collecting for you.
