bully712
While we're at it with these types of questions, I'm curious to what others think. My place of employment specialize in Student Unions, Student housing, and Rec. Centers. One day I would like to work on "Themed Renderings". For ex. Casino Design, Cruise Ship interiors, Amusement Parks, Themed Bars, Restaurant, etc. What would you guys/gals like to work on that you're not right now? chuck
My firm is partnered with Renzo Piano for a job that is in schematic design, it's actually on hold now, but there's a serious chance I'll be doing the renderings for some fundraising here in the states. Quite an exciting opportunity. Other than that, I like working on anything contemporary. Old school stuff just gets too fussy, too many details. I guess it comes down to having a client/architect that allows you to do your work the way you want, with enough time to get a quality image out. Tim Saunders
anything different. architecture that is new, original in design. i like metals and glass. i especially love projects that have the included comment, "see what you can come up with." and in closing, anything without a complex site. for me it's way funner to boast the building, than the landscape. 3dp
white cat in a snowstorm black cat in cellar with lights out sleeping both of the above being very well paid with realistic deadline and fat fee too seriously most of the time i enjoy the next project because it will diffrent better etc than the last one i did just finished a huge neo classical retail/residental scheme - lots of noodles mouldings quoins and fiddly details - design complle but not cohesive so lots of back and forth at the same time working up a minimalist apartment block lots of glass crisp clean lines - so sharp you can shave etc both projects photmontage both for planning depts both riverisde developments but aside from that worlds apart as long as i have variety i'm pretty happy
