nisus
Hi Everyone, I've been researching the marvellous DGS-materials lately, but haven't found how to make them self-illumination. Any clues? I've been thinking about the following strategies: - adding 'unnatural' DGS-fx in the photon-shader-slot (i.e. sum of DGS more than 1) - adding the photon base shader in the photon-shader-slot - adding whatever (i don't know what) in the lightmap-slot Any tips are welcome, because I'm pretty new to DGS. thnx. rgds nisus
anthony cortez
Hi nisus, You can try putting an output map in the Diffuse slot of the DGS material. Make sure you've got FG on. That should work out for you. -Anthony
Aksel
Or you could go and Blend the DGS with a SelfIllum or Glow Material, works fine as well.
MegaPixel
Or just use a Glow Lume shader alltogether for diffuse and photon components?
