I want somebody tell me the best renderer for the coming pc specs p4 2.4 - 512 ddr ram - 128 mb geforce 5500 vga I am always render exteriors i couldn`t upgrade it before the coming year 2006 may be fabreuary i have tried brazil, mentalray,v-ray ,finalrender, maxwell i have max 7 & plugins on many of my friends pcs i could hardly get nice renderings with v-ray but its very heavy to my pc please guide me to the best renderer so i could buy it & start learning hardly i am still beginner best regards for all Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
mbr Posted December 24, 2005 Share Posted December 24, 2005 You'll need tons more ram. GI eats it like nothing. I use Final Render. The new version looks great (not out yet). But I think that VRay has better support, both by Chaos and the community. Can't go wrong with either. hussein Posted December 25, 2005 Share Posted December 25, 2005 hi all ... all you need only suitable board , ram , proc. & vga card .. & i thing u can not upgrade ur pc only u have to purchase a new one bcoz. there are a lot of new tech. in the market now can support ur requirments . & after all do not think it will be perform ur render time only it will be helpfull to c ur job as u wish to after may be 3 to 8 hr ,,, belong to ur project . high meshs & lot of lights sources consume ur ram . best regards hussein Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Matherboard will be gigabyte(945) or assus ( try the prof. not the home user or desktop one with pci express vga.. ram will be from 1-2 giga ddr2 vga will be xfx 6600 ...
