skala67
Heres a quick turnaround job. I included two images, because they wanted to see one with the trees in front and one without them to see the building. C&C welcome.
3dwin
Heres a quick turnaround job. I included two images, because they wanted to see one with the trees in front and one without them to see the building. C&C welcome. Overall Good rendering~ Some of the detail and lighting revision could bring out image quality. First of all, I would recommend you to change lighting. You could change the lighting direction so that building's surface would have dynamic(bright and dark side). The whole image rendering seems pretty dark. Sky, Trees, cars, etc... if you change the light rendering, you'll know the difference. If your client wish to put trees on the foreground of the building, recommend you client what if you leave the trees transparent rather than 100% opacity. Please review just rough revision I did. Good Luck~

Ernest Burden III
I really like this one. The big issue is you need less foreground and more sky. The red curbs and cars provide a nice subtle tie-in and some visual movement within the picture.
skala67
I couldn't agree more about the lighting. The client unfortunately didnt like the contrasting sides (dark side light side) that I had done on the first pass. Also tried to get the tree transparency thing through them, but they wanted to see both images (100% and 0%) I will work on making the lighting more effective and post something soon. I have to say that the biggest problem I am having in all my projects is perfecting the lighting. I like the rough revision you have mad and appreciate it and has given me some direction. What tools did you use in PS to make the revisions? Thank you 3d-win. and thanks ernest, I agree and will try to balance the sky and foreground.. cheers,
skala67
I changed some lighting to give it more of a mood. (unfortunately some clients like the stark, no frills look) This new iteration is more for the company portfolio. continued C&C welcome.... Crazy Homeless Guy
comments on your re-worked image.... i feel like the sun needs to be lower in the sky, and the shadow edges (area shadows) slightly less crisp in the re-work of the image. sunilarch
nice work. few comments:- 1. the intersection of two blocks is almost in the center or the image which divides the whole image into two. if you can change it by adjusting the cam to two third horrizontally( rule of third) it will be great! 2. the lamp post is now below the skyline of the building, let it come above the building 3. add an ambulance van which will give the picture more context. add few people at bottom right as they are trying to cross the road. 4.more sky less road(follow the rule of thirds) 5. the lawn in front looks too plane, add sculpture etc.
