jophus14
I would work on the lighting a little bit more. Tone it done a bit. Your lighting from the "sun" is coming from the wrong direction.
Tim Saunders
not a bad start. i wonder if the site photo could be taken again with the sun at a different angle. with the sun right behind you there wouldn't be very dynamic light/dark wall contrasting. ideally you might want the sun coming from about a 90degree bounce off the building from the camera's angle. it also seams like you have the sun direction correct (matching that of the site photo) in your rendering, but there is some sort of shadow casting across the street and the sidwalk that doesn't make sense. what is that coming from? other than that, are you using any gi? your shadows are pretty stark. the rest of the building is pretty bright. could use some work on the glass too. based on some of your other posts i assume your using cinima? not much i can help you with on specific settings if thats the case. pauldoherty
Good positive honest feedback. Thanks I have to make do with this photograph because at this time of year in Ireland its impossible to get a nice sunny day with a blue sky. Its just grey and miserable al day every day... For GI would you add illumination to the sky in order to light up the scene better?? If I turn on radiosity I loose alot of the contasting shadow strength... Is this a good think or bad? I find it makes the image quite flat looking. Thanks for your comments
