chuck
Here's my most recent rendering with beta. took 36rs @2000x1500. I think the noise levels are acceptable, but I'm rerendering now with fewer plastics in the scene to try to bring it down. Right now it's only lit with daylighting. Ernest Burden III
Is there any glass in the windows? I would assume not, but worth asking. Even a few lights IN the space would be good. The problem is that since all the light is coming from outside, you don't feel connected to the interior. Still, it shows a typically difficult render looking really well done. Jonathan Sanchez
how did u achieve that lighting?
chuck
the lighting is just standard maxwell physical sky with sunlight. there isn't any glass in the windows, but i've added some mullions and i'll post the final when it's done this week. i have "bulbs" modeled in the cans, but adding emitters slows things down too much. i'd like to turn them on for the final, but i don't have another 36hrs. i wonder how much faster RC5 will be? thanks for your replies... chuck
thomas+son
Lighting is GREAT, what kind of flooring is that carpet or cork? THomas+son
Msamir
i wonder how much faster RC5 will be? From the Maxwell status report. Speed Can't really tell, yet. It's too early. Some things are faster, but the optimizations won't happen 'til the end, so I wouldn't go looking for huge decreases in time yet.

Tim Saunders
i would be really happy with the lighting. agreed with ernest that it sort of makes you feel like they just finished their conference, cleaned up, turned ff the lights, and now you need to leave the building. but with those render times, i think i would stick with it. nice job. chuck
Here's the latest. I'm not sure how long this rendered since maxwell had crashed by the time I got to work this morning. The sunlight seems really dull now in areas, but I guess it's accurate. Thanks for your comments, Chuck
Lhanh29
Great Image ! I really like it.The lighting is fantastic. But I like the chair of first Image more than new one.Don't mind if i'm wrong. :)
