Here is the file, I am tring to wrap this stack around the main form. http://www.perplexedmedia.com/form/test1.zip Thanks to all MIke (stressing a bit right now)
MrCAD
do you need to drape a mesh over another mesh ? If yes use the simcloth plugin. cheers Meher http://www.mr-cad.com
mtutaj
take a look,I added the file. its more of a thickness form, and I have other elongated shapes as well. Also should add I am using Max7 right now.
MrCAD
sorry but your file does'nt open for me..since I'm using max6. Anyways I think I understood what you need. You can use the Scatter option from the compound objects. You will be able to scatter the small meshes over a bigger mesh...I'm sure you can figure it out...see the image attached..I've used scatter to wrap 3 different water droplet mesh on the bottle. good luck Meher http://www.mr-cad.com
mtutaj
my problem is that I created a flat surface and the form is very organic. here is a pic of the one area, and I would like the circle mass to wrap around the edge on the right. http://www.perplexedmedia.com/form/form1.jpg Thanks, Mike
