It seem so easy when he said it But I know it's going to be tough job. It has satellite photos of most areas (although not the most up to date) You can control the angle, so this should work. All you have to do is download and install it. Regarding resolution, the Google imagery varies quite a bit from area to area. Typical Landsat imagery is 30m/pix. Other commercial satellites can get detailed imagery down to the 1m level but this is very expensive since it must be acquired specifically for a project.
