frank1331
What is the best file type to bring ADT/AutoCAD drawings into Max for rendering, and why?
joseph alexander
.dwg layers are transfered. block identity is transfered. the limitations is the 30,000 polygon rule, you shouldn't have one object/layer with more then 30,000 polys...
Crazy Homeless Guy
what version of max are you using? ....I thought this was essentially what DWG FileLink was setup for? ....we use FileLink, but with FormZ instead of ADT/Autocad. FileLink works well because you don't have to re-import the file every time you make a modelling change.
