Yaseck
The glass is not the problem. The artificial-look-like thing is a great leftside wall. Smooth as LEGO brick.

Brian Cassil
Great composition! What an improvement over the first one posted. Just a couple of minor things I noticed. The sky in the first image looks a little warped just to the right side of the building. Also the red base of the building looks a little too red. Other than that I think its fantastic work... nice and lively.
arquiteck09
The second post looks a lot way better, maybe just fix a little the compositing.

Balthus
Hi, first i would like to greet everyone. About architecture i can say that it doesn't aestheticaly fit in the ambient, but it have some kind of charm, whitch i can attribute to visualisation. But its individual thing. It looks like some kind of Philip Johnsons post modernism thing. Model and rendering is good, but perspective is problematic, regarding the front of the picture. The Man nearest to the building seems that he is accros a lake, not the street. Try to scale down the crowd in front of the picture.
phil
THE RENDERING I kind of read the rendering as a concept sketch. I feel the rendering support the presentation of the project. It doesn't have to be realistic. There is more sharm in idea then in the real thing. Not meant as an offence. Apart from some small remarks which the other guys pointed out, the image sells nicely. It has somehow a kind commercial feel. ARCHITECTURE What I meant by it being a weird building refers to the architectural aspect. I'm customed to seeing those typical dutch, slick, minimalistic architecture (Holland, Belgium, ...). I definitly feel there is a difference in cultural background. I find oriental architecture and mid-eastern architecture difficult to understand. I've been thinking about that for some time, seeing people presenting there work coming from all over the world. You see there is somehow a non-definable style aspect. It's not always so generic (as Koolhaas points out). PROPORTIONS Somehow I feel it has something to do with proportions like the scale of the building : the ground base is quite high referred to the rest of the building (making it smaller then usual) and the top of the building is quite small to the rest. Same thing goes for combining the floors so it looks like one story. STYLE On the 'decorum' aspect. It has some eclectical aspects. On the one hand it looks quite postmodern (piramid-like volume on the roof, columns, etc.), on the other hand the ground floor makes me think about those typical stores in the begining of the 20th century (those grand-cafés, first shopping malls,...) The upper part on the other hand is again very postmodern (I'm thinking about Botta, or maybe Venturi & D.S. Brown). My remarks about the architecture have nothing to do with the quality of your work, it's not that I don't like it. I have difficulty defining a quality about the architecture, which I find difficult to grasp. Maybe it has something to do with the architectural school we went to, the tutors we had, or the building-tradition in our countries.
