siliconbauhaus
This is a really basic question. I'm getting ready to learn modeling in max ( I've always used acad ) and I'd like to know what the euquivilent to the acad UCS is and how you go about using / modifying it? Brian Cassil
That would be the "reference coodinate system", and to a smaller extent the "pivot point" or "pivot point center". The two kind of work in harmony with each other. Experiment with those and you should get the hang of how they behave.

Sketchrender
Hi Can I ask is it possible to set up a model with ordinace survey data, so it is accurate , heights, and position globally, for enviromental impact studies. I know it can be done in autocad, but how do you achive this in max 7, as I would like to do eveything in max. Thank you phil
