Brian Cassil
After having seen the news section this morning I am singing praises. Power Booleans is finally in Max. I noticed that my post about a deal for this being included in the original launch of max 8 and falling through was deleted. I guess somebody knew it was coming in subscription and didn't want to spoil the news. Now if this included the power solids and/or power nurbs I would be dancing on air, but for starters I'm happy with the booleans, and I can't wait to try it out. Ricardo Eloy
Never used PB (never been a big fan of booleans)... Is it really that great?
Brian Cassil
never been a big fan of booleans That may be because max booleans are sooooo bad, at least that's the reason I've always stayed away from them, but there are lots of opportunities to make use of them if they were reliable, and created comprehensible results. Sawyer
For the love of frigging monkey farts. For years I have been sure Max would do this so I didn't buy PB. Last fall I was working on a project that I thought needed booleans and I bought it. I guees I just needed more right-offs. Rick - In my opinion PB are really cool easy to use and whats more just something your software SHOULD be doing anyway. And with the power cutter application there is so much you can do. And nPower is a company I have had great success communicating with. People there are really helpful which is nice. Hope that doesn't change. Brian Cassil
Autodesk expects to deliver Pro Booleans for its 3ds Max 8 subscription customers in winter 2006. I hope/assume that they mean Jan/Feb not December.

rpc212
Hi guys and gals, 1st time poster here. Someone posted on the Discreet forum that subscription extensions are usually downloadable about 2-3 weeks after being announced. Does anyone know any different? In other words when Pro Booleans is going to be available? Thanks.
