aflack
I currently working on an animation walking through an appartment. I have attached the lens effect glow to all of the lights (small bright white cylinders recessed in the ceiling), however as I move away from the lights and they get smaller the glow appears on some frames but not others. Is this because the white disc might not appear in the image so the glow effect doesn't render? Is there a way to fix this so the glow always appears? The client has requested it so its a bit of a problem. Thanks for any help.
Ricardo Eloy
Glow is a very tricky thing, for it depends on the viewing angle. Sometimes we want to see it, but the angle simply won't let you. One thing I do to minimize this is to apply the glow effect to an object instead of a light (via video post), so it behaves more or less the way I want.
