render texture with vray

i get errors with bake texture

 

i tried to follow the directions but baking gets stuck.

 

Here is what I did. I would appreciate if anyone could answer the question, after all program should be functional

 

1. I setup a scene with vray materials and 1 vray light

2. I enable FB, I click on Split Channel buffer and save

3. I click (0 or zero) to enable the bake texture properties

I make CompleteMap, 512 resolution, diffuse for target slot

4. I click render and I see that bake texture takes place but then I get a black render and nothing happens.

 

 

What do I do wrong?

Hello Greg,

 

I far as I can tell it is as it should be. I assume that you've read the

pretty short instructions and there is a part that says:

 

"VRay writes out the selected channels to the specified files.

Note however, that the 3dsmax VFB will turn out as black."

 

And if I'm not wrong I've read that you can't use LC for texture baking, yet.

 

Hope this is a lil bit helpful. ;o)
