STRAT
getting there, but your radiosity effect is waaaaaaaay too high, and the fruit's materials need to be looked at - the colour/contrast and texturing is still needing work. it looks very artificial and 'glassy' as it stands
Jonathan Sanchez
You are definitely going in right direction. Just work on fruit's materials. I agree w/strat too shiny. Give your banana's some specks, your plums in the back look like marbles. I mean it looks real, but not realistic. You know what it looks like? My mom's fake fruit bowl on top of diner table :-)
Ismael
Well, here goes an update on this fruity subject. Tried to follow advice given as good as I know how. Hopefully it looks at least a bit less plastico. Ismael
AJLynn
Nice. Love the fabric texture. I think you could still take the plum glossiness down a notch, maybe put a map in it to get some variation, and the lighting level on the fruit doesn't quite line up with the highlights on the fabric - it's drawing my eye away from the subject. arquiteck09
i think they look a little plastic, i like the lighting, maybe just keeping on the shaders.
Ismael
Thanks for the comments. Just reviewed previous post and truly have stayed plastic! Maybe this one is less plastic, although my wife does not like the grapes. Well, I don't like the grapes either.
STRAT
looking allot better , but the apple is still to glossy and wax like, and the grapes need more depth to them. also, the general lighting is horribly flat and dull now. give it some sparkle. Ismael
Here is the last one probably. This has been very much a fun thing to do. From time to time I might work on it, specially in trying not to get renders that look flat and dull or plastic when the intention is visually real and truly organic. Always something new to learn and that is just fantastic. Thank you all for the comments and critiques. Ismael
Yaseck
Everything is just fine, but I don't like the fallout of the grapes.
Ismael
Thanks! I don't like the falloff either! I'll have to get me some of them grapes and stare them until I understand them or I eat them.
