marco uccellini
This is my first post and my first serious architectural rendering. I have used light tracer with a daylight system and IGES Sun and Sky. I want to improve this rendering so I would like feedback and comments and how I can improve this and make the image more photorealistic. Also the underside of the roof is quite blotchy - my rays are set at 250 will a greater amount remove this? This site has been of great value to me for research - so thanks to this forum and the people who use it for helping me get this far. Marco PS I hope I have managed to include the sample image correctly.
AJLynn
Nice start. I think you've got a UVW map issue on the building wall - looks like a wood texture that's mapped on a horizontal plane having pixels dragged down the edge. Go to a box mapping and work the gizmo. Also, the detail at the curb - you're showing grass. Try sliding that back, and modeling a curb detail. The large plant behind the building is a little strange. Can't help you on the light tracer issues - I've been using Vray or Vray Free for stuff like this.
arquiteck09
you can try with another background, i notice the UVM maping as well, and maybe some little plants will help too.
edri
The large plant behind the building is a little strange. So does your clouds.May i suggest you take the large plant out and replace it with a background picture with real trees.
marco uccellini
Thank you for your replys. I will fix the scene and post another thread later on this week. I must admit that this type of work is very addicitive (well for me it is anyway ). There is so much to learn, but thanks to this forum most answers are a click away.
