copying custom UI's to new computer

I developed some custom toolbars and buttons that i want to transfer to a second computer. Some of the buttons are created using the 'drag and drop' function from the maxscript listener.

 

on the second computer i copied over the .CUI file and all of the 'drag and drop' scripts. when i go to load the .CUI file, the layout changes but the new toolbar does not appear. when i look in the toolbar list, the new toolbar shows up - but i can't get it to pop up in the screen.

 

Is there something that i am missing? i seems like it should be simple enough - i can't figure out why it isn't working.

try to copy the entire ui folder, this works fine in my 3d max 7

thanks for the suggestion - unfortunately it still isn't working. i copied the whole UI folder over - but i still cannot get the toolbar to appear. i think MAX has an issue with the 'drag and drop.mcr' files. I think ages ago, i tried this same thing and had the same problem. the only fix i found was to just rebuild the whole thing again.

 

this really doesn't make any sense as to why it wouldn't work. i hate it when that happens!
