NOOXY
just another fun disign i've been working on to improve my lighting techniques...still a work in progress but c&c away for improvements..
STRAT
ironically it's the staircase in the image that, lighting wise, doesnt work. purely because your gi settings are waaaaay too low. look at the steps - they dont look conntected to the stringer. this is because you accuracy/stoch samples are nowhere high enough. rest of the scene looks fines. NOOXY
thanks strat but it was just a quick render so i turned down those settings..appreciate the c&C..i'll post an update,..
STRAT
no probs, but if ur trying to improve your lighting techniques and need advice then dont turn down those settings just for the sake of posting here. spend extra time rendering, there's no rush

keys1969
Hey Nooxy, did you model that chair yourself? I'm interested in how you made the texture look like it does (the blueish). Btw. in my opinion you made great progress in the second render. Regards, Jack
NOOXY
well the chaire was just pre modelled but the texture i used a high res cloth texture with a high bump map.. thanks for the c&C:D
