visions
Hi, just came across a cd of their Human Extras product while cleaning my desk. Where are they? Do they have a working website? Their Human Extras product keeps asking for a Charman.Dlm....is this available for max7 or 8? Anyone has any idea on getting this to work? The people seem ok for background movement Thanks Vivek
Chris LeBlanc
Vivek, I tried looking for them a while back without luck. I was very interested in seeing there product, because at the time there were not many low poly people options. We now have more options (lowppolygon3d.com, axyz) however none have really impressed me. I would still be interested in seeing what their product looked like... would you mind posting a sample... or send me an image via email? Thanks, Chris
Richard McCarthy
If you want a screenshot I found it here : http://web.archive.org/web/20010926163311/http://www.polygems.com/ It's just internet archive's website front page. There is an older thread about this here : http://www.cgarchitect.com/vb/showthread.php?t=4259
Dan J
if I remember correctly they were based in Tualatin, Oregon. I tracked them down to there old office and sent a letter trying to find out more, but nothing from there. I used the product for a number of animations and the people worked great. I even went in and customized several of the figures with different clothing, skin and hair. It still seems like a useful product and it would be great to see it back out on the market. Keep us informed if you find out anything.
