Night scene lighting on building?

I designed a building in Sketchup with many different shaded window panes. Some on the panels extrude off of the face of the building. What is the easiest way to create a night time scene for a building that has so much glass? I have tried looking at some tutorials online, but most show lighting for only a couple of windows and when i try to replicate the tutorial in my scene it looks horrible. Please help, thanks.......................Jophus
