Sectional view presentation

hi to all,

 

I am just awarded a shopping mall visualisation project. Client requested a sectional/cutout view of the mall in 3d presentation.

 

This is the first time i am doing such presentation(sectional), I wished to know if there is anybody who hv links to such presentation view, i need ideas of how to present it efffectively.( a finished artwork or links to site with such views)

 

I am planning to generally model the whole mall, and slice it along where i want it to see, it is other better way of doing this, a plug-in or something already built in to max8.

 

All advice and suggestion will be very much appreciated.
