Hi guys and galls, thought this would be kinda fun.

Show us your real early works fellers. just for a laugh :p

I'll kick off -

these 2 images were compiled of several jobs i'd done at the time. i used these 2 images as my advertising blurb back in my freelance days (hope my old boss of the time isnt reading this). the majority are stills taken from animated sequences. i did all types of cgi then, not just architecture. i wish i still had them today.

done around 12 years ago or so, on a 386 machine, using autocad, 3dstudio ver 1 for DOS and Animator Pro for post.

brings back all the memories :)

Hahah, this will be fun. I think we had a thread like this a while back and I posted these, but here they are again.

1: [Townhouse] Was my 3rd rendering ever (1995). 3dsmax DOS 4

2: [Commercial Retail] Was my first rendering, or photomontage ever (1993) Was done in corel draw if I recall. All I remember was trying to scan the clients picture at the local copy shop and it taking up 12 floppy discs. Don't forget this was back when I had no clue was resolution was. Even with the townhouse project above I could not for the life of me figure out why someone would want to render to different resolutions. LOL.

3: [House Interior] First "rendering" ever. Was done in one of those off the shelf "design your house" packages. (1994) Actually, now that I recall, by today’s standards it was an off the shelf product, but I think we paid around a $1000 for it at the time.

Man these are embarrassingly bad.

I can't believe I still have this rendering...it has probably been transfered from 6 or 7 computers over the years. It's funny how at the time (1997) the client was amazed that it could be done. It makes me feel ill when I look at it now. :o

I remember a thread on this popping up a year or two ago, but never had a chance to post anything, because I couldn't find anything really old, however, I just came across some prints while cleaning out our basement of my first works. I'll dig them up tonight and post them. Should be worth a good laugh!

Believe it or not. This was done in 1995 for my final year architectural project.

Done on Intel 486 DX50, Microstation 5 with Masterpiece extension.

Still proud of it.

Wish I could do more of these type of work instead of the current boring stuffs that pay my bills.
