cdgsean
I've been visiting the forum for a while now, and I figured it's about time I contribute. I've learned a lot from reading these threads, and respect everyone work. It's amazing the variety of things happening around the world coming together here. This is a school renovation project in my home town. Just finished design development, therefore the interior isn't modeled yet. That's why the glass is a little dark and unfinished. Any comments on improving? VIZ2006, Vray 1.09, Metroply people, xfrog bushes, trees are post.
Tim Saunders
Looks pretty good. 1-loose the truck-driver mom, 2-decrease the intensity of the sun a couple, 3-desaterate or darken the map used on the flag a bit and add some post motion blur. Good start.
Ernest Burden III
Keep the mom and kid, they're great! They serve as perfect framing and help tell the story of what this place is. There are other things, but I'll just mention one--if you're going to have an almost straight-on shot, make it straight. Look at the sidewalk and the sign. Tim Saunders
Who are you going to trust Ernest or me? Just kidding.
cdgsean
Of course I value both your opinions......but mom stays:) I'll work on the lighting a little, and the flag needs work. It was a last minute thing. Ernest - I can see what you mean about the view. The sign was bothering me a little. It might be that the letters are extruded too deep, creating a larger, darker shadow. I'll work on it an post an update later. Thanks for the crits.
