ArchitTrav Posted January 25, 2006 Share Posted January 25, 2006 You can do this by using an "Endcap Modifier." First you must create an open polyline in the profile of the endcap you desire as I have shown in the first image below. Next you select the wall, right click and choose "Encaps - Edit In Place" as I have shown in image 2. Select the end you want to modify and right click, choose "Replace Endcap." Select the polyline you created. You should end up with Image 3. Simply choose the icon on the far left of the tool bar now displayed and the endcap will become part of the wall. At this point cut the automatic cleanup function on the wall off by using the properties dialogue. As a Final step move the wall to be joined so that point B touches point A, shown in image 4. Finally perform a "Wall Merge" between the two walls and whala! You should end up with the final product shown in image 5. If you have trouble I will be happy to clarify further. 1.
