When in next VIZ due out?

When is the next VIZ due out? I purchased a 1 year subscription when I bought 2006. I was told that they release one every year...but I haven't heard anything lately. I was hoping that somethings would start coming out on the advent of Max 8.

Any news, or am I just living in a cave?

Thanks!

Aaron

We had a presentation from our reseller yesterday on Architectural Desktop 2006, and when he was going to demonstrate file linking with Viz 2006, I'm pretty sure I saw a Viz 2007 folder in his start menu, but apparently he couldn't talk about that yet.

If it goes along the same release time-line as other Autodesk products then they are likely in the Beta testing stage of their products. That being said, it will likely be between March and May when you'll see the next release.

That was going to be my guess as well. I asked our local reseller and he hadn't been informed of any dates, but he estimated April-ish.

Autodesk can't legally give out an exact date due to issues that can effect their stock. Typically AutoCAD comes out in mid-late March and their other product lines fall out shortly after, usually into April and perhaps even May. April-ish is a good estimation.
