moshenko
I'm extremely pleased with my new 19" Eizo's, but they are pricey. I would be pleased too! Which models did you purchase?
Fran
The Eizo's are FlexScan S1931's.
Tim Nelson
Ok Moshenko, I hope your eyes are right about the 1097fpv's! I just ordered 8 of them. Dell was kind enough to give me a nice discount over the phone too so that worked out pretty well. Thanks everyone for the help.
moshenko
Oooh! Discounts are always fun, especially at this time of year! I hope you like them (and if you don't, I hope you don't come looking for me ).

Tim Nelson
Well I just hooked one up and I think it looks great! No gradient banding using the dvi & minimal banding using analog input. Thanks for the good advice guys.

Chad Warner
I meant to reply to this earlier: I received two Dell 1907FPV monitors this week following Chad's recommendation and I am happy to say that they are equal to - if not better than - the old Dell 1905FP monitors that I mentioned. I haven't tried the Samsung (although I suspect that the Dell uses Samsung guts) but these 1907FPV's are really, really nice. They cost CDN $329 so I'm sure they will be an absolute bargain in the US. Chad, if we ever meet: I owe you a drink! I'll make sure to take you up on that! Tim Nelson
Well looks like I am going to have to dig this thread up again. Unfortunately Dell stopped making the 1907FPV's and I need to purchase a few more monitors. Has anybody tried these yet? http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=bsd&cs=04&sku=320-5293&~lt=popup&~ck=TopSellers
AJLynn
I've used larger ones from that series and they're quite good. But for ovver $300 surely you can get something larger?

Tim Nelson
Sure I can get a bigger monitor, but what I'm really concerned about is color fidelity, not how big it is.
