d7man2000
why does it happen? I have my resolution set to 720x486 and I can see it in a viewport and everything is allright but when I rendered I get a completely different output, image is stretched when rendered. karl zacharias
The only thing I can think of , if your using MAX, is to check the "safe frame" by left clicking the the viewport call-out. Within the lines should be what renders. ???
Fernando Lino
check your pixel aspect under the render dialogue window..it should be "1"
d7man2000
thanks for reply it seems like it was a pixel aspect thing, I am trying again, hopefully it will work.
d7man2000
wait a second, pixel aspect for resolution 720x486 is .9 not 1 by default what's going on?
Lester_Masterson
720x486 is a standard NTSC video format. So, Max default is set to 0.9 ratio for display on North American TV sets. Hope this helps
