Chad Warner
This is probably going to sound complicated, but it really shouldn't be: I would like to pan my camera target interactively (while in the camera viewport) and at the same time, record this motion. Is there a way to do this in Viz? The effect I'm after is that of someone looking through a photographic camera, and trying to decide on a shot to take, then staying that spot for a second, then moving on and taking another shot. Thanks! -Chad
Aksel
That effect works very well with the motion capture module and a joystock plus a mouse. Takes some time to setup and to get used to it, but the results are impressive. Did that sometimes already.
Chad Warner
As far as I know, there's no motion capture in Viz.

Chad Warner
I don't want it to be a real time environment, I want to move my camera, and have viz record those camera movements in real time, which I will then render to a movie file.
