tcupp
Has anyone ever bought anything from Evermotion? I was thinking about buying Archinteriors from them http://www.evermotion.org/index.php?unfold=products#archinteriors but wanted to know if it was worth the $$$. I want to learn to set up high end renders but dont know if they are follow throughs or just scenes that can be used.

AJLynn
It's probably a good idea if you think you'll learn well from looking through other people's scenes - you get a bunch of already set up Max scenes, not for using so much as for looking at how they're done. There are also training discs available from various companies for most software where you watch somebody do the work and explain it to you - the Shop link on this page has some from Gnomon, the two on Global Illumination are very good for Vray users. ecastillor
Evermotion models are superbly detailed and are "very good taste"....well at least most of them.....the only thing is that they have very high poly count....
tcupp
Yeah, I downloaded a few of their sample models and they are pretty good. I was looking for more along the lines of advanced tutorials though...so thanks AJLynn, that is what I figured they probably were. I will take a look at some of Gnomon's stuff. Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks can't tell for the texturing or lighting because i'm not using max and we are on macs but the models are very fine! also, pawel was very helpful and friendly to convert all the models into OBJ format for us. when i bought it in their online shop, i didn't realize the content was for 3dmax only! i would say that you get a lot of useful quality models (a lot of these little 'extras' to 'decorate' your environments) for a reasonable price. if you gather all the contents of this collection on turbosquid you would probably end paying at least 10 times more...
