Jonathan Sanchez
Hey guys, had a client who needed this image for a presentation for premanufactured homes in the Florida Keys. It was a very rushed job. What do you guys think. I know the car is horrible and i hate myself for having rendered the image w/the car but other than that i'm open for advice. manta
Looks good to me...what is the roofing material ?
Jonathan Sanchez
Its vertical metal plates. I dont know why it came out blurry. It sucks cuz the only way to fix it is to rerender which I dont really have time to do. So I'm gonna see if client dont mind.
Msamir
I dont think the car is that bad, the only thing that bothers me is that the whole house is so clean.
manta
You could always render out just the roof, and composite it...
Jonathan Sanchez
True that, I think the client will like what I have, but if he says something I will do that Manta.
NOOXY
nice lil house:D i think its a bit too bright looks like the house is glowing with sunlight...and some reflective or transparency on the windows might be good...the car isn't that bad probably to big of a city car to be here... ..i must admit the grass looks nice how was that done may i ask...? nice render overall
Jonathan Sanchez
thanks all for comments. Grass was done w/vray displacement map and just a little noise map for displacement. Pretty simple process. Then I photoshoped the edges of the house
ecastillor
Very nice...only those windows need to reflect something!
Tim Saunders
as mentioned, the whole scene is pretty bright and way too saturated. sadly, we don't see colors like that in real world exteriors.
alfienoakes
Agree with the glass and the brightness.. Is the grass supposed to be coming up through the paving at the front? Quiet cool, its like the "grass crete" that we use here.. but better looking.. Andy
STRAT
all the elements are correct, ie, materials and modelling, but as with your last couple of renders, your lighting is all wrong. as in well over lit. whats your general gi bounces? im sure they're too high. your imagery lacks contrast, which adds realism. try not to over complicate your lighting rig. keep it as simple as you can. all this scene needs for example is 1 spot light for the sun and your gi generator.
