NOOXY
hey guys this render was done with a 95% accuracy , 350ss and 200 max level in cinema4d..i keep getting those strange disco lights in the room..i must admit it will look cool if this was a dance floor but not the effect i want here.. anyway any help and sugesttions on how to get rid of it..i have three light sources 1 direct light with soft shadows and 2 low infill omnis with soft shadows.. another issue i get is that when i select a prepass od 1/3 it just renders the entire image and does not show the small prepass with all the red dots and multipass option is enabled...i'm confused a bit..help:confused:

Jonathan Sanchez
You know nooxy that has happened to me in vray when i have the "show indirect illumination map" feature on. Check to see there is nothing on similar in C4d.
NOOXY
my min samples are set to 50..yeah that prepass not showing is really confusing..i tried another project to see if it was the program but it works fine except with this file,
STRAT
those dots actually look more projected onto the walls rather than an indication of low samples. besides, your min sample setting of 50 is fine. try rendering the same scene with the 2 infill omnis off. then with just 1 off, then with the spot off. in other words, try to track down and isolate the offending light (if it is a light). if this doesnt work, something else will need to be tried.
